Hotpoint HFO3T222WGX Stainless Steel Dishwasher Review

In this video I explain the features of this stainless steel freestanding dishwasher from Hotpoint before putting it to the test with a full load of dirty crockery.

I was very impressed with the performance of this dishwasher and subsequent loads using my regular eco friendly dishwasher detergent have been equally impressive.

Thanx for your reply Roger, I’m with you now. A lot of built in dishwashers have the contols/program guide on the top of the door also. Trouble being you can’t see the state of play when the door is shut. I was surprised when you said the Hotpoint cleans/dries better than the Miele. I too had a Bosch made Hotpoint slimline dishwasher which lasted 12 years. They are nowhere near as good quality now. Iv had 2 miele washing machines since 2002, iv slowly seen the quality going down like you said. The latest range of Miele washing machines have lost the sturdy metal door and is plastic instead, have no on/off button or door release button, they have opted for a touch screen control panel for everything. I wonder if the bits we don’t see inside have been cheapened off too? Its a shame even a company like Miele have started this cost reduction process. The still keep their prices high though! Love everything you do Roger, wonder if you have ever had any Beko appliances to review and what you thought of them? Best wishes Lee.

Have you sold out too AO.COM and other companies cause you get free stuff ? , When you started you actually reviewed the product , but now its all very vague…

Bettyboop711000 says:

I love my miele dishwasher and your review of a miele dishwasher helped persuade me to buy it. You seemed very happy with the miele so why swap it for a hotpoint ????

bogdannb b says:

That looks waaay better than your Miele… keep it and give miele to your mother hha

Mrlaundry101 says:

I love my hotpoint dishwasher, it’s a slimline and much better than our old indesit. We have ths ultima with flexi power model but they have stopped selling it now. Good to see it cleaning well and ours cleans everything that it’s given. We always use ultra intensive at 2hr 55 as I want it as hot as possible to keep it clean too. Good to see whirlpool hasn’t changed much so far….

Bruce Solomon says:

I’m happy to see you back.

Elizabeth Kern says:

Is this Next Gen

Bob Surrey says:

Ibasiac I beg you please put the Miele back they’re so much better than indesit rubbish. The sad thing is hotpoint dishwashers used to be made by Bosch (mine is a Bosch made one) and it is from 1998 and it hasn’t broken once

Roger does not lie. He says from the get go, it’s a machine to revue. My only thing is…..a dishwasher only works as well as the detergent put into them. Live in the states, rent a house ( not because i’m poor, just moving in the next 2 years to my retirement home), have a crappy dishwasher, found what detergent works best. His dishes may be clean, but the dishwasher is only part of that, in the states, we no longer have enzimes nor bleach in our DW detergents and many work very poor. He was lucky, he used a sample that may have made the DW shine. He is giving HIS opinion as how it went. So….no hate!

lee harvey says:

Hi Roger, great video thanx, I noticed the dishwasher has no program guide on the front panel? I suppose till you get used to it your have to refer to the handbook to see what those program numbers on the display correspond to?

the simpsons fans says:

hi there is lg washer review next

Dat Schwartz says:

Who’s your miele?

Blackrose Journey says:

Great review as always, I bet your house is gleaming with all your gadgets lol

Paul Hojda says:

Not bad for an Indesh…i mean Hotpoint

nickart2203 says:

Good performance from a stylish dishwasher. It appears that Hotpoint quality has improved recently. Hotpoint’s premium range of dishwashers and washing machines all seem to have a more solid feel to them, not Germanic quality but still much improved.Good review Roger.
