Delonghi AN125HPEKC Portable Room Air Conditioner Unboxing and Review 12,500 BTU

Opening the Delonghi AN125HPEKC 12,500 BTU Portable AC Unit I bought at Costco. Works great at cooling a room that is 20′ x 20′. Easy to set up. The window brackets could be built more sturdy though.

How do I get it on a temp timer? Say I want room at 78. Called company..says there is auto mode, correct however fan to A.c. to fan all day..I would prefer to have it turns,and off..

I purchased this same unit a few days ago and I’m very happy with it. I too have a second story room with poor ventilation and this really does a great job of cooling it quickly and comfortably. And your right, it’s not as noisy as the video. I’m not sure if it would be quiet enough for a bedroom but I guess that would depend on how light a sleeper you are. After all, it is a compressor.

The set up was easy, as you say. Yes, the window brackets seem a little shakey especially if your window is large-mine is 46″ vertically–but I found that using the adhesive-sided weather stripping along the side of the brackets that meets the closing window gives it a little more sturdiness and keeps the plastic pegs in place. All in all, I’m very satisfied with this unit and would definitely recommend it. In fact, I wish I had bought it sooner.
