Purchased from Lowes, this fan has a similar install to other fans. This particular model is a Fanimation SInger 2, model number 0581598. I am very happy with it (this is my second one I have installed). It has very nice hardware, well put together, remote control, and neither has required balancing. Works great

I have a separate switches for the fan and the light, so should I only connect the one white power wire to the fan and cap the other one off ? I seen you do that in your video just wonder if this is a must.
How is the airflow on this fan at the high speed settings? It looks like you have standard ceiling height and didn’t use the optional longer rods so I was wondering if you were still able to get good airflow? I’ve read on some reviews from Lowe’s on this exact fan that some people were complaining about poor airflow since they didn’t use a longer rod. Thanks for the great video!
My fan won’t spin 🙁 light works
I have one of the older versions of this fan. With the bigger globe and fluorescent bulb. It was hung many years ago but never used past the first weeks after install as the home has been vacant since.
Im having issues getting the remote to sync and operate the fan. Fresh battery in remote. If the bulb is blown will that stop it from syncing?
Great video thank you for sharing. I have a question about its functionality when you turn on the wall switch. Does the fan go back to the last setting it was on when the switch was turned off (e.g., if the light was on when you turned off the wall switch does the light turn back on when you turn on the wall switch?). This information is important to me because I am looking to replace WiFi dimmer switch I have now with a on/off WiFi switch but I would only do that if it keeps the same settings as when it was turned off.
