My video of my favorite Ceiling Fans.
It’s the Harbor Breeze 52″ Crosswinds models with remote control.
I have both the oil-rubbed Bronze and Brushed Nickel Versions.
The installation process isn’t hard at all on these and only took me about 1hr each. I have to say that I didn’t follow the manuals 100% since the videos by Lowes made it even easier to install.
These ceiling fans saves money on cooling down the room without having A/C on. It is extremely quiet and have lots of power.
It’s a lots different then the older one I have 12yrs old. It also doesn’t wobble like the old ones.
I’m so happy with the fans. Check out my video.

I thought of that and was wondering if it maybe came with one that i misplaced. Thanks for the info.
In the same boat as vapors win. Returning it. Maybe a bad batch??
Yes, they are reversible. It’s a pine wood color.
Nice video. I searched for Harbor Breeze Caratuk River and this one came up in the search results. Thanks for the comparison to the nickel. I see what you mean about how it brightens up the room. Will go with that color regardless of which model I choose. I just have to decide if it’s worth paying more for a remote controlled dimming model.
Crosswinds not Crosswind
+netman88 Where Are
The 2 Crosswinds
Located?
Yes, I follow the instructions. Have to position it to fit in the canopy.
did you install the remote and the remote transmitter?
Got one of these in white from a friend, he found it in the trash
Got this fan put in and wired the way they say to. Put light bulbs in and it does nothing. They set the wires up all on one side of the box and they are not even in order. Otherwise how hard could it be? Two wires say AC IN and the other three are colored alike. So WTF…..
Newer Crosswinds are remote only now.
Interesting. Best to get it on sale.
I’ll put that on my to do for new video.
Thanks for the feedback.
can you reverse your ceiling fans ?
They’re not bad for Harbor Breeze, but I have to tell you that Hunter ceiling fans are better. The best ceiling fan model ever made would be Hunter model “Original” which Lowes sell now. Yes, they’re expensive, but they blow lot more air than these fans, and will last very long time. So when you can afford it, buy it. By the way, can you make a video of the brushed nickel one on all 3 speeds with a remote, and all 3 speeds with a chain please?
I wonder if you could help me. I have had one for a few months now, but it rotates so slow that I don’t even feel the air. I’m not sure if my uncle installed it incorrectly or what, but it really sucks having to use another fan to keep my room cool.
It cannot be flushmounted, but you can buy a shorter downrod.
yes.. it’s also very quite. I would buy it again.
Are the blades reversible? another color option on the reverse side?
Hello, We just moved and lost our manual, Can this be setup low profile ?
hello everyone, I was updated a dangerous video you search my name. you can see:
REALLY BAD! HARBOR BREEZE INDUSTRIAL CEILING FAN
and
REALLY WOBBLING HARBOR BREEZE INDUSTRIAL CEILING FAN
these videos is dangerous video.
Nice fan but I would suggest using the pull chins as they are much more reliable comparing to remote control… By the way, what is the
UL file listing (staring with the letter “E”)?
is this fan good?
When the remote stops working, be prepared to replace the entire fan.
The remote sensor is built *INTO* the fan.
