I was aggravated with trying to mount the motor to the base on the ceiling until I saw your video. Thanks for noting the issue with those senseless screws! You saved my family a meltdown.
And no F bomb when you drop a little housing cover screw and it falls down the A/C register? I’m disappointed LOL
If it wasn’t for your instructions with the center hardware I would have taken this item back. I purchased the 52 inch model, also the instructions didn’t even talk about removing hardware on fan motor to install blades to it. Also one of the globes has a line of silver paint on it which i will be asking hampton bay for replacement globe. Unit is working fine, is quiet to run and looks fine, but what a PITA,
Cool fan.
it’s not called a pull it’s called a down rod
You always install AccuArm blade arms to the post so it doesn’t make any scratches then attach the blades to the QuickFit Blade Arms, that will make the installation faster.
I have this in nickel on order. Thanks for posting on HD review and a link to this video. You may have saved me hours of frustration the day befor Thanksgiving when its due here and to go up.
I’m in the middle of installing and can’t get all the wires tucked in from ceiling in motor mount. How do you get them all in there? won’t snap in with all those wires in there. help!
Can be one of good fans to get if you can’t afford better fans and need to buy fans brand new.
“Please don’t blow up”
What I say every time I cook with the stove.
