REVIEW of Ninja Master Prep:
It comes in this silver, green and red. It measures 12 inches tall and about 5 inches wide. The base with the tall cup measures 2.5 pounds. Included in the box is the base, 1 tall cup that holds 19 ounces, 2 mugs that hold 18 ounces each, 2 comfort lip rings that make it easier to drink out of the containers, 3 resealable lids, 1 stainless steel cross blade, a ten second recipe book and instruction manual. The Magic Bullet is BPA free. This unit is supposed to chop, mix and blend. Let’s test it out.

REVIEW of Ninja Master Prep:

There are two ways to operate the Magic Bullet. You can either hold down and let go to pulse or push down and turn, that will blend automatically, you don’t have to hold it down. To stop blending, just turn back and it stops.

First I’ll make a smoothie. I’m using 1 banana a few strawberries, little honey, 4 ice cubes and milk. I’ll let it blend automatically by pushing down and turning to lock.

Let’s try frozen fruit – mangoes, my favorite, a little milk, sugar. If this works, it could be an easy dessert.

Next I’ll chop some walnuts. These are great for your baked goods or adding to oatmeal. I’ll pulse a few times. Hold the base with one hand and pulse.

Let’s make a fresh salsa. I’m putting in cherry tomatoes, onion about 1 inch pieces which is the recommended size for most food processors, 1 serrano chili cut in half, cilantro, lime juice and salt. I’ll pulse this.

Now I’ll make a white bean dip, it’s perfect for a healthy snack. I’ll process two cloves of garlic first. Now I’ll add the drained white cannelini beans, I’m using a 15 oz can, lemon juice, flat leaf parsley, salt and a little bit of water to blend. I’ll pulse this.

Do not blend hot liquids in this unit. You can heat up a food in the microwave with the tall cup only with no lid and no blade. Don’t heat for more than 2 minutes in the microwave. As for cleanup, the blade is not dishwasher safe, wash it by hand with warm soapy water. The cups and lids can be washed on the top rack in the dishwasher or hand wash which is what I do.

Thank you very much for the review . To make a sorbet, it’d have to be a far more powerful blender

I had a Magic Bullet, but I guess mine was counterfeit. Anyway, I can’t find it, so I want to buy a new one. I see you struggle a bit. And yes, it does not blend like magic. But there is a trick. And that is to shake the magic bullet while blending. Lock it in place an shake the whole unit, blender and cup all toghether. Then it will do a decent job.

I am sure there are better blenders and choppers on the market. But I think the Magic Bullet is very convenient. It is so easy to clean, and you have two sizes of blending cups with two chopper blades to choose from. I did use mine a lot. For a lot of different things. So I miss it.

But on the other hand, by seeing this video I was reminded of all the problems I had. I does dry things very well, and very wet ones also. But it struggles with semi-wet ingredients. And there were things I could not make with ease. Like salsa, for example.

And it was very, very loud. But maybe the original Magic Bullet is more silent than the counterfeit, I don’t know.

What i liked the most was the very small size of the unit. It takes no space at all. Not more shelf space than a coffee cup. It is very handy and easy to grab and easy to use. And very easy to clean. But it certainly does not work like magic.

So I might go for a Tupperware non-electrical food chopper. They seem to be very convenient. But I have never tried one. The noise of the Magic Bullet was the worst. A non-electrical can’t make a high noise.

Why can’t they make blenders that are silent?

Amouna Minouch says:

i have it it is perfect

winsten strawing says:

such magic bullet

Smellavision says:

What are the advantages of the bullet over a regular blender? Seems like they do basically the same thing.

fusionaut23 says:

Curious if it still works today. I am thinking of buying one and want to know if it lasts a long time.

Carol Binnie says:

I’m so glad I have m
y Ninja , as I don’t have the flat blade for chopping nuts , Garlic or onions. Ps you have to use the flat blade for those + bestkitchenreviews lol 😛 😀

omj moonwalker says:

is the blade at the bottom of the power base?

Chirasree Dutta says:

I got it recently, and have used it only a couple of times but what I figured out is, this one works well with good amount of liquid only. I tried the garlic with some water and got a decent puree. Magic bullet is more of a blender than a chopper.

irmar says:

That was very helpful! It seems that in the TV advertisement they used liquids for everything, to achieve that smooth result. Sorbet is not even possible with machines more powerful than 200 watt – it would be unrealistic to expect that.

Sathia Hans says:

This is a real review, thanks for your honesty and professionalism!

4Fonthill says:

Thanks for such a clear and informative review. =)

Michael Stride says:

seems like the Magic Bullet has no MAGIC lol

Robert Morin says:

Almost seems better to own the Vitamix S30 over this… I’m sure even the Nutri Ninja is hands down a better deal.

Ivo Andrade says:

Tom Speller says:

Hate it when it gets stuck

Zak the Rapper says:

I have one, awesome tool!

Anh Chrisman says:

I bought instructions from woodprix and I makeed it very very cheap.

dp swtty says:

DetachableSouls Roblox says:

I got this for Christmas, and it doesn’t work! It takes forever to blend even kale… And it did nothing to frozen fruit.

Maria M says:

Glad I watched this before making a decision. Thank you

digonggong dutertard says:

margaret kariuki says:

my big jug is broken . where can i get a replacement. very desperate.

giovanni brito says:

very nice video with the mango it get stuck the little blender because you had to trow hot water to defrose it so it go smooth suave!

Jenny L says:

Do I like this video?  No I hope that you are being honest with what you are doing.  I was just given this to me as a gift because I have a very bad digestive problem along with that have lost a lot of teeth because of it so I cannot chew a lot of vegetables or fruits and the person giving me the gift thought that this might help with my inability to absorb nutrients.  I hope your video is untrue and will come across a video that does, and if someone out there can recommend a video that does please provide it.  Thank you

eazthitman says:

seems a bit crap

dusty rhodes says:

How do you expect the food on the top to drop to the bottom when there is not enough water to move the bottom stuff out of the way? It’s like trying to fall to the center of the earth with all this dirt under your feet.

marta gasparic says:

I bought it recently because it was 4 times cheaper than Nutribullet and yes, there are chuncks of food sometimes in it, but some vegetables are better cooked for example kale, and spinach, and even rough I made a decent smoothie with it. the real test was to make almond and lax milk and it left some pieces as little as ground coffee which is ok for me. I have a friend who bought Nutri bullet and used it for 6 months than returned it because the lid wasn’t as tight. so if it breaks, I’d rather i spent less money. she did get money back but I think I’m gonna stick with thisone. If you move things around in it and shake it it does a good job. and more liquids sometimes helps.

Kathryn Love says:

You are sooooo beautiful.

poetryrules1991 says:

Thank you. I bought a used machine and really didn’t know how to use it properly. Your video was very helpful.
