We needed a new blender, and we were looking for the best food blender at an affordable price. Obviously the VitaMix is the best blender, but who wants to pay that much for a blender. Let’s talk about the blender that we ended up buying.

Hey Dads,

We had an old Hamilton Beach blender that finally died on us, so we went to the store and looked at the blenders available. We noticed that most of them had plastic containers or they didn’t have as much power as we would like.

I decided to check Craigslist and Amazon, and we found this Oster 12 speed blender. First of all, it has a glass container, which I find to be more durable and easier to clean than the plastic food blender containers.

Secondly, it has an all metal drive on it. My previous blender, the Hamilton Beach, had a rubber drive gear, and when the blender ran too long, it would start to smell like burnt plastic or burnt rubber. With the all metal drive, the Oster Food Blender is just better made with better, more durable parts.

I use a blender every day, so I really put these blenders to the test, and for the price I’m really impressed at what Oster is providing.

This is my authentic, unedited review of the Oster 12 Speed Blender. If you like my review videos, consider subscribing, and let me know in the comments what you want this dad to review next.
