Thank you for this great review, I am currently getting ready to replace my 18 year old Trane XE1000, there is honestly nothing wrong with it but its just because we want a more efficient unit. I am replacing it with the XL18i and really looking forward to the two stage capability. I am so very happy with how Trane holds up that’s why I am more then happy to spend a bit more for something that is going to last.
