After 3 Years – Review of Whynter ARC-14SH Air Conditioner.

I bought this unit over 3 years ago and I uploaded a video about it:

During these 3 years people asked a lot of questions about this unit. Now after 3 years of using this portable air conditioner a lot of people ask how the AC is doing. This is where this video is coming in. The video shows that the air conditioner is still cooling great as it did on day one.

Great Review! The difference between the ARC-14SH and the ARC-14S is that the “H” stands for heater. So the models are the same except one comes with a heater. Surprisingly, that unit is cheaper on Amazon than the other unit despite being the same in every way but with an EXTRA FEATURE you would normally have to pay $100 extra.

Hi There! Do you happen to ever use the heat option? I am more wondering if this can be used for heating in the winter as I am by Vancouver Canada.

Taylor Thompson says:

Does this have self-draining technology or do you have to manually drain it? And if you have to manually drain how often?
